TAMUNING, Guam—U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services reminds the public that the agency offers immigration services that may help those affected by certain unforeseen circumstances such as Typhoon Mawar that impacted Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

Various measures such as extending nonimmigrant stays, rescheduling appointments, expedited processing and adjudication and fee waivers, may be available on a case-by-case basis upon request.

To request assistance, call the USCIS Contact Center at 800-375-5283.

USCIS also reminds applicants to update their address with USCIS to ensure timely receipt of all correspondence and benefits. Changing an address with the U.S. Postal Service will not change the address with USCIS.

USCIS encourages those in need of immigration advice to work with an authorized provider and be cautious of immigration scams. To learn more about avoiding scams, visit uscis.gov/avoid scams. (USCIS)
