A’s Car Aircon remained perfect after drubbing JSN Enterprises in the masters division of the 2nd Annual Saipan Centennial Lions Basketball League last Wednesday at the Civic Center Basketball Court in Susupe.

The team was hot from the get-go as it juxtaposed frigid shooting JSN Enterprises, 21-12, after the first quarter of play.

It was more of the same in the second canto, as A’s Car Aircon hummed to an even bigger lead, 40-24, at the half.

JSN Enterprises continued to be in disarray in the third, as they couldn’t engineer any semblance of a comeback and still trailed big time, 38-47, heading into the fourth and final quarter.

There were multiple times that JSN Enterprises cobbled together a string of points, but not serious enough to threaten A’s Car Aircon as the latter went on to register the 16-point win.

Cecilio Bisana paced A’s Car Aircon with 15 points, while Bryan Manabat supported him with 11 markers of his own as the team won its third game in as many tries.

Jun Tabora was the lone bright spot for JSN Enterprises with 22 points to lead all scorers as the team dropped its second game in three outings.

In the second game, Ali’i won its third consecutive game to raise its record to 4-1 after serving Susan’s Catering an 82-60 loss.

Ali’i raced to a 20-12 lead after the first 10 minutes of play, but Susan’s Catering narrowed that to 46-43 at intermission.

The third quarter saw Ali’i regain some of the momentum, allowing it to post an 8-point spread heading into the payoff period. Then in the fourth, Susan’s Catering collapsed under torrid shooting from Ali’i, as they absorbed their fourth loss against a lone win.

Brendon Talania and Marlon De Dios bludgeoned Susan’s Catering all game long, finishing with 19 points and 18 points, respectively.

Craig Padayao and Joseph Torres led Susan’s Catering after combining for 26 markers.
