NMA 10K Road Race, Oral Cancer Awareness 5K set
The Northern Marianas Athletics 10K Road Race and CHCC Oral Cancer Awareness 5K run/walk is set for this Saturday and will start and end at the Hyatt Regency Saipan Club Elan parking lot. (LAO ZHANG)
In lieu of the Saipan Marathon’s 10K run, the Northern Marianas Athletics is hosting a 10K Road Race in conjunction with the CHCC Oral Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run this Saturday, April 15.
The course is the same as the previous NMA Women’s Run that began at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Club Elan parking lot.
The 5K walk/run is already sold out, but slots for the 10K are still open.
The registration fee is $15 and will end tomorrow, Tuesday. For the U18 2x5K Team Mix Relay (1 male and 1 female) event, the registration fee is $10.
The Top 3 male and female will receive medals from NMA.
Robin Sapong, NMA general secretary, said “we decided to organize the 10K run just to offer a race option for those that had planned to run in this year’s Saipan full/half marathon 10K run.”
