Group 2 runners take to the track

Group 2 schools took to the track in the NMA/PSS All Schools Athletics 2022-2023 last Thursday at the Oleai Sports Complex track and field.

The schools are Agape Christian School, Garapan Elementary School, Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School, Mount Carmel School, Kagman Elementary School, Brilliant Star School, Grace Christian Academy, Tinian Elementary School, and Sinapalo Elementary School.

The 9U boys 60m Top 3 in Heat 1 were Daviray Indalecio from KES at 10.09; Vicente Cruz from TES 10.28; and teammate Crixus Nebrida came in third at 10.74 seconds.

In Heat 2, TES’ Joedric Torres came in first at 10.45; second was teammate Miran Tamang at 10.7; and third was Jayvin Deleon Guerrero from GTC at 10.88 seconds.

Kintino Elieisar from GTC was the fastest in Heat 3 at 9.56 seconds; after him was Andrew Macaranas from TES at 10.84; third was Isaiah Taimanao from SES at 11.08 seconds.

In the 9U girls 60m Heat 1, it was dominated by Kaihani Maratita from KES at 10.6 seconds; Kihani Cepeda from TES claimed second at 10.91; and Divannie Torres from GCA came in third at 11.20 seconds.

Celina Gonzales from KES dominated Heat 2 at 10.81; Josie Torres from TES came second at 11.07; Ayana Olebuu from KES came in third at 11.28; and Milena Cepeda came in last at 12.18 seconds.

Heat 3 Top 3 was Anita Moses from TES at 10.24; Astrid Masiwemai from KES at 10.45; and Rudith Camacho from GTC at 11.30 seconds.

The 12U boys 200m Top 3 in Heat 1 was Thomas Erickson from TES at 33.89; Tanvir Hossain from SES at 34.94; and Lance Aldan from TES at 35.15 seconds.

Heat 2 was dominated by TES Jun Young Seo at 31.68; Conan Iakopo form GTC came in second at 32.51; and third was Francisco Castro from TES at 35.36 seconds.

In Heat 3, Kody Mendiola from SES came in first with 30.92; Reveal Escarlan from ACS came in second at 32.05; and third was Francisco Moses from TES with 33.23 seconds.

The 12U girls 200m Top 3 was Kiyara Villagomez from TES at 33.48; Ma’ina Salas from GTC at 35.07; and Adela Aderwangel from KES at 36.25 seconds.

Heat 2 first place was Krisha Aguero from SES at 34.28; second was Sarah Norita from GTC at 36.06; and teammate Kyria Ngiraked came in third at 38.07 seconds.

In the 9U boys 800m, Evan Poole from BSS came in first at 3:21; GCA’s Beau Bauer came in second at 3:29; and third was Joedric Torres at 3:34.

In the 12U boys 800m, ACS’ Reyviel Escarlan came in first at 2:59; SES’ Prudencio Manglona came in second at 3:11; and third was Inos Repeki from GTC at 3:15.

The 9U boys long jump event was dominated by Evan Pool at a distance of 3.1m; TES’ Andrew Macarans was second at 2.78m; and third was Jaydin Camacho from BSS at 2.55m.

The 9U girls long jump first and second was TES’ Kihani Cepeda at 2.73m and Josie Torres at 2.58m. Third was Rudith Camacho at 2.45m.
