Members of the Saipan Pacific Lions Club once again gathered last March 25, 2023, to serve the community of Kagman as part of their monthly commitment.

The club, which has adopted the Marine Beach for routine maintenance, repainted the graffitied pavilion and planted 14 calamansi seedlings beside the road adjacent to the beachside. Other members who came early did an early morning cleanup drive. They gathered a lot of trash alongside the beach.

“Doing our monthly tasks by maintaining the pavilion, which SPLC has adopted, is a fulfillment, somehow minimizing, if not eradicating, pollution,” the group said in a Facebook post.

The cleanup was followed with a fellowship, with lots of food to share and enjoy.

“Thanks to all of you who came and were part of this event, most especially to [club president] Boyet Entico Escober, for your leadership,” the Facebook post added. (Saipan Tribune)
