Water interruption in Garapan on Feb. 17

There will be a scheduled water service interruption on Feb. 17, 2023, on Beach Road, Garapan, from 8am to 5:30pm.
This is meant to allow RNV Construction, the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s contractor for the sewer main replacement project on Royal Palm Avenue and Ginger Avenue in Garapan, to relocate portions of the watermain that are in conflict with the sewer. It will be necessary to shut down the watermain to complete the work.
Customers in the area will experience low to no water pressure between 8am and 5:30pm on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023.
This project is part of the Sewer Main Replacement Phase 11 funded by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide a more reliable sewer system for customers in the Garapan area.
For safety of the men and women at the job site, proceed with caution and/or take alternative routes during the period of the sewer line repair. CUC appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation during this emergency wastewater service interruption.
