It was a full house during the Dandan Middle School junior varsity and varsity games, which they both won in the return of the NMIVA-PSS Interscholastic Middle School Volleyball League 2022-2023 last Tuesday at the Marianas High School Gymnasium.

The DMS Tottots’ JV team fought hard against Saipan Community School JV in the first set after a nail-biting 25-23 game.

Well placed serves and calculated returns by the rotation consisting of Kyle Ayeras, Jeremiah Blas, Daniel Buekis, Austin, Kianu, and Peter Camacho, Hunter and Jay Dela Cruz, Colton Guinto, Dusting and Kamron Pangelinan, Jayshaun and Lorenzo Reyes, and Keliv Lumbana upended the Guardians.

Then, the Tottos sealed the deal in the second set, 21-5, as back-to-back aces buckled the knees of the Guardians.

In the varsity game against the Mount Carmel School Knights, the Tottots came swooping down from the get-go, as the boys rotating lineup of Jordan Agulto, Rodel Apostol, Christopher and Tyler Cruz, Arvin Hornejas, Shayne Ngircheungel, Matthew Peters, Kallan Seidler, Dane Tibayan, Bernard Villagomez, Andrei Viola, Endree Yangilmau, and Joshua Yorormad, grabbed the first set, 21-16.

That was all they wrote, as in the second set, the Tottots gave almost no chances with their spikes and serves, and claimed it, 21-15.

In other results that night, Tanapag Middle School Tatagas and SCS varsity teams faced off, with the Tatagas winning in two sets, 21-11, 21-17.

Agape Christian School beat Francisco M. Sablan Middle School, 21-17, 21-5; and Cha Cha Ocean View Middle School fell to Saipan International School, 4-21, 1-21.

The league will last up to March 18 which is the scheduled date for the championship tournament.
