The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture is seeking artists and food vendors for the 3rd Art in the Park event that will be held on June 28.

The Arts Council will be partnering with the CNMI Museum for the event, which will be held at the NMI Museum grounds across the Taro Sue Store on Middle Road.

“The purpose of this event is to help and promote our talented local artists and to give the general public an opportunity to witness their artworks,” said Fe McMahon, the Arts Council’s visual and traditional arts coordinator, in a statement to Saipan Tribune.

According to McMahon, the event will feature local artists in the CNMI who will display and demonstrate their arts and crafts to the public.

All interested artists are encouraged to register at the Arts Councils’ office on Capital Hill.

“Also, we are inviting interested food vendors to take this opportunity to sell their food at this event,” McMahon said. “Please take note that the spaces for this event is limited. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.”

Registration fee will be $25 for registered artists, $50 for non-registered artists, and $100 for food vendors.

For more information contact McMahon at (670) 322- 9982 or (670) 322-9983.
