Deadline to submit MCS AlumKnight nominations
Mount Carmel School’s AlumKnight Association reminds all community members that the deadline to submit nominations for the 2022 AlumKnight of the Year, Legacy Teacher of the Year, Millennial Falcon of the Year, Parent of the Year, and AlumKnight Class of the Year are due today, Friday, Jan. 20, 2023. Nomination submissions can be submitted to the school’s Business Office or emailed to businessmanager@mcsknights.com. 4.7-magnitude quake in Maug region
At 4:18pm on Jan. 15 2023, a report of a 4.7-magnitude earthquake occurred at 19.385°N 145.335°E in the Maug Island region of the Northern Mariana Islands. Currently, there are no tsunami warnings or advisories that were issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. For more information, contact the CNMI EOC State Warning Point at (670) 237-8000. (PR)
