The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. informs businesses and residents of Hotel Street, Lower Navy Hill, Lower MIHA and residents along Chalan Pale Arnold Road from Smiling Cove Road to Angaha Street that a five-hour water outage is scheduled for tomorrow, June 11, 2014, from 1pm to 6pm.

The purpose of this water outage is to allow CUC’s contractor, GPPC Inc., to replace a gate valve on Saluda Street. This project is part of the Navy Hill Water Line and Pressure Improvement Project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The water outage will affect businesses and residents in Hotel Street, Lower Navy Hill, Lower MIHA, and Chalan Pale Arnold Road from Smiling Cove Road to Angaha Street.

CUC’s operations team and GPPC will be working hard to return service to our customers in these affected areas as soon as possible. Because of the scale of the work to be performed, CUC recommends that motorists exercise caution when driving through the construction sites.

For more information, call project manager Larry Manacop at (670) 236-4332. (CUC)
