Deleon Guerrero wins Mini Christmas Village Contest

Lucy Deleon Guerrero and her family topped the Mini Christmas Village Contest awarded at Saturday’s final night of Christmas in the Marianas at Garapan Fishing Base, Saipan.
Deleon Guerrero walked away with a $2,000 cash prize. In second place were Gina Nabetinan ($1,500) and in third place was Sharma Iginoef Laniyo ($1,000).
Winning for best decorated booth and receiving $500 was Kinpachi Restaurant. In second place was Chagi Norf Kitchen ($300) and in third place was Island Grindz ($200).
Christmas in the Marianas is an annual signature event of the Marianas Visitors Authority held during the Christmas and New Year holiday travel period. The event features live entertainment, food and drinks, a Christmas parade, illuminated sculptures, and more.
