Fujiaire Air Conditioner has landed in the CNMI with the opening of its office and showroom along Middle Road in Garapan.
General manager Danny Siu said he brought the Malaysia-based company to Saipan knowing too well that air-conditioning is a must on the tropical island.
Siu also said it’s about time the community finally has access to air-conditioners that are of top quality without necessarily breaking the bank.
Originally from Hong Kong before moving to the Western Pacific 27 years ago, Siu has purchased his fair share of air-conditioning units while owning a garment factory, apartment units, and a tour company.
While critical of the quality of Chinese brand air-conditioners and the high price point of Korean and Japanese brands, Siu found his solution while scouring the internet for an affordable but high quality air-conditioner brand that turned out to be Fujiaire Air Conditioner.
“It took me five years to decide on bringing it here. It’s a Malaysia-based air-conditioning company that was developed with the help of Japanese technology. So it has quality materials, service, and parts. What’s more, it offers a five-year warranty. But units need to be serviced every six months with some minimal service fee,” he said.
Siu said since opening last month, a lot of people have been dropping by and inquiring about their units.
“Many people are interested and have come to our showroom. They talk with me and our sales associates and at the same time get free coffee,” he said.
Aside from the usual AC-DC air-conditioning units, Fujiaire Air Conditioner has also brought in several solar units, which while more expensive will save on power in the long run.
For the month of January, Siu is also having an introductory promotion by slashing $100 of the sticker prices per unit.
Fujiaire Air Conditioner is open from 9am to 6pm everyday except Sunday. For more information, call (670) 235-3288 or (670) 838-3288. You can also email them at fujiairpacific@gmail.com or go to their Facebook page.
