SCC to install new officers; award 2022 Business Person of the Year
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce presents the 2022 “Bowties & Diamonds” Business Person of the Year annual fundraiser gala on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at the Hibiscus Hall of Crowne Plaza Saipan.
The BPOY gala serves as the SCC’s largest annual fundraiser for Chamber programming activities such as the scholarship program, online seminars, workforce development training, small business support, and more to benefit its membership and local community.
The event honors past Business Person of the Year recipients, current nominees, and the SCC board of directors. The SCC will be recognizing and awarding a 2022 Business Person of the Year, 2022 Small Business of the Year, 2022 Start-up of the Year, 2022 Nonprofit of the Year, and 2022 Chamber Member of the Year. Additionally, the event celebrates the installation of the 2023 board of directors.
Nominees for the Business Person of the Year and SCC awards will be announced in the following weeks. The 2022 SCC award nominees are selected by members of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce and include both members and non-members alike. The winners of these awards will be voted on by the Saipan Chamber of Commerce membership official representatives.
