On her first day in the Northern Marianas, Lin visited the Marianas Visitors Authority, took a submarine tour, visited the Garapan Street Market, and experienced diving, parasailing, and a barbecue lunch at Managaha. On day two Lin took a tour of historic and scenic sites in Marpi and visited 360 Revolving Restaurant, I Love Saipan store, and Kinpachi Restaurant. “The MVA’s representative office in Taiwan continues to work diligently in creating more programs that generate awareness of the Northern Marianas, and Intern to the Marianas Sunny Lin—as her name implies—has been wonderful in helping us share the warmth of our islands with a relatively new Taiwanese audience,” said MVA marketing manager Bruce Bateman
While on Tinian, Lin took a tour of the House of Taga, Tachogna Beach, Chulu Beach, the Tinian Blow Hole, and World War II historic sites.
She also participated in the Saipan Marathon, placing 3rd in the Half Marathon course for her age division. (MVA)
