Kanoa Football Club and Paire Football Club both blanked their opponents, 2-0, in Week 4 of the Flores-Pee Luwal (Intermediate) Division B in the 2022 Dove Women’s League last Friday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

Kanoa defeated Shirley’s Football Club after Merlie Tolentino made a rush for the goal less than a minute in and was followed by teammate Amy Quintos. Shirley’s FC attackers could not get a single goal past Kanoa’s defenses.

Similarly, Paire shut down Tan Holdings Football Club after Denise Myers’ two goals in the first and second half. Tan Holdings had no luck with the ball as they went home with a goose egg on the board.

Matansa FC 3, MPU FC 2
In the first game of the night, Matansa Football Club rallied to defeat MPU FC, 3-2.

Matansa made a comeback in the second half after scoring all 3 goals to upset MPU, who scored one goal in the first half and their last goal in the second.

Results of last Sunday’s games will be posted in the next editions of Saipan Tribune.
