Women’s Affairs Office thanks sponsors, partners for successful community event
The Women’s Affairs Office thanks all the donors, sponsors, and partners who helped in the successful staging of the “Empowering Women for Success” at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center last Oct. 14, 2022.
The event consisted of mini-workshops, resources from agencies, activities, and even a space where participants could obtain free business outfits and fashion accessories. The event was intended to empower women in the CNMI and provide them with information and resources in preparation for joining the workforce.
The event’s sponsors included Dial Rent-to-Own, Northern Marianas Technical Institute, Island Training Solutions, Jim Arenovski, and the Marianas Visitors Authority.
The event’s partners were the CNMI Office of the Governor, Lady Diann Torres Foundation, CNMI Youth Affairs, CNMI Homeland Security & Emergency Management, Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence, Northern Marianas Technical Institute, CNMI Department of Labor, CNMI Scholarship Office, Micronesian Legal Services Corp., CNMI Child Care Licensing Program, Soroptimist International of the NMI, Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations, Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.’s Community Guidance Center, CHCC Non-Communicable Disease Bureau, Northern Marianas College, Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, Saipan Maga’Haga Lady Eagles Club, Miss Northern Marianas Earth 2022 Katherine Johnson, and Saipan FitBeat Fitness.
