Triple J opens most modern bed and breakfast in CNMI

TINIAN, CNMI—The grand opening of the Tinian Garden Bed & Breakfast facility took place last Oct. 11 hosted by Triple J and attended by Tinian’s island dignitaries, government officials, business leaders, and close friends.

Tinian Mayor Edwin P. Aldan congratulated Triple J on the opening of Tinian Garden Bed & Breakfast and added that, “Accommodations for lodging have been very limited on Tinian, especially during our annual events, where off-island visitors and guests want to visit and enjoy our festivals. I applaud Triple J for recognizing the need for more lodging accommodations on Tinian and for their amazing first-class design and unique themes for each room at an affordable rate! Adding lodging accommodations will greatly assist in revitalizing Tinian’s tourism industry, so I would like to thank Triple J Enterprises and Mr. Robert Jones for identifying and filling this need.”

The first paying guest at the Tinian Garden B&B was Leonard Kaae, senior vice president and general manager of Black Construction Corporation in Guam and Micronesia. He stated, “I had the distinct privilege to be one of the first patrons to stay at the Garden B & B on Tinian last week. My room was very spacious with a vibrant décor and amenities included a wardrobe, ice box with quality bottled water, wi-fi, good lighting, good bedding, and a very comfortable bed.  The room came with its own full bath complimented with shampoo and conditioner and other special items. Hats off to the owners of the Garden B&B for providing a first-class facility to visitors planning a stay on Tinian.  I strongly recommend the Garden B&B for those planning a business trip or just wanting to explore the beautiful island and meet the wonderful people of Tinian.”

Tinian Garden Bed & Breakfast facility is the latest addition to Triple J’s Tinian developments which include, the Tinian Western Lodge, Hertz/Dollar Rent-A-Car, Bar-K-Diner & Bar-K-Drive-In, Tinian Village Lodge, Tinian Wholesale To Everyone, Tinian Conference Center, and Triple J Tire Lube & Car Wash Shop, which opened in April 2021.

“Over 38 years ago, Triple J made plans to help improve the quality of lives and build better communities in the CNMI and we continue to be passionately committed to that promise. Adding a bed and breakfast to our growing portfolio only made sense. We had an opportunity to lease and renovate a structure to intrigue our travelers that were already surrounded by our existing compound. At the time, it was a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house. We added rooms and converted it into a six-bedroom house, each with its own private bathroom stocked with varied amenities for guest’s comfort, a large lounge, kitchen, and laundry. It was a nice house to start however, and we put a lot of creativity and investment into it to give Tinian a top-notch, quality destination B&B, one that can even rival anything in its class on Saipan or Guam. Hopefully this will give the people of Saipan, Rota, and Guam one more reason to come to Tinian. Residents on these islands need affordable destinations to go to for business, weekends, holidays to visit relatives, or for an extended vacation.  While on Tinian we hope all will enjoy great food and beverage at our Bar-K Western Diner and lounge,” said Robert H.
