Before the holiday weekend, the Mount Carmel School community gathered to present its annual Cultural Day celebration, with all grade levels representing a country around the world. This year, the countries celebrated included Japan, Samoa, the United States of America, the Federated States of Micronesia, Italy, Thailand, Palau, China, Mexico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, the Marshall Islands, India, the Philippines, and South Korea. After the performances, each grade level also decorated a booth displaying information about their assigned countries. Mount Carmel School wishes all an enjoyable Commonwealth Cultural Day.
