MVA joins Asia Dive Expo 2022

The Marianas Visitors Authority touted diving opportunities in The Marianas at Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2022 on Sept. 16-18, 2022, in Singapore.
ADEX is the largest and longest-running dive consumer and trade show in Asia and is a must-attend event for dive enthusiasts. The MVA joined 127 other exhibitors, including fellow Micronesia destination Palau, in meeting consumers, trade reps, and media during the event which was held at Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore. This year’s expo attracted nearly 29,000 attendees, including 17,000 consumers, about 10,000 diving trade representatives, and other guests.
“As diving is one the strongest attractions The Marianas has to offer to a niche market, ADEX is the perfect opportunity to get the word out to anyone interested or involved in the world of diving,” said MVA deputy managing director Judy Torres. “In talking with attendees, we see there is a strong desire to travel, especially since restrictions are being eased. Most of our booth visitors were looking for new diving destinations and experiences.”
At its promotional booth, the MVA shared general information about the destination; details on air service to The Marianas; various diving experiences available in Saipan, Tinian, Rota, and
the Northern Islands; and other tourist attractions in the islands. The Marianas 30 Treasures brochure was made available digitally, and participants also received Marianas-branded giveaways for taking a survey. The MVA was joined by Axe Murderer Tours owner and master dive instructor Jay Wolfe in promoting The Marianas at the event.
The tropical Marianas offer a wide selection of shore, boat, night, wrecks, cavern, and marine life dives with high underwater visibility. (PR)
