LDTF, Fresh Factory team up to offer free back-to-school haircuts
With the beginning of another school year now impending, the Lady Diann Torres Foundation and Fresh Factory barbershop are teaming up to offer free back-to-school haircuts to students on Saipan as they prepare for another school year. The event will be hosted at the Fresh Factory in San Antonio on Aug. 14, 2022 (Sunday), and at the Kagman Community Center on Aug. 15, 2022 (Monday).
The free haircuts will be available on location from 10am to 3pm and will be available for both boys and girls aged 16 and younger, with barbers available for the boys and stylists for the girls. Each haircut session will vary depending on the customer and chosen hairstyles, with the available hairstyles being either a standard or a regular style only. The outreach program is being extended to walk-in customers only. That means students who want to avail of the free haircut do not need to pre-register and may just go directly to the Fresh Factory in San Antonio. Haircuts will be conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
First lady Diann Torres and the Fresh Factory are inviting the Saipan student community to drop by and “make it a fresh start to the new school year with a fresh haircut,” absolutely free.
This outreach is made possible by the Lady Diann Torres Foundation, the CNMI Women’s Affairs Office, and the Office of Governor.
