The 18th Tinian Municipal Council has unanimously adopted three resolutions that recognize and congratulate—on behalf of the people of Tinian—three residents of Tinian for acquiring their doctorate degrees. The three, who were recognized in resolutions that were adopted last July 26, 2022, are Dr. Regina C. Palacios, in Education Curriculum and Instruction; Dr. Conrad M. Kiyoshi, in Biomedical Science Philosophy; and Dr. Raena P. Cing-Cabrera, in Teacher Leadership Education.
Tinian Municipal Council chair Joseph E. Santos expressed his pride in seeing these kinds of success in individual endeavors despite the challenges they faced. Council members Thomasa P. and Juanita M. Mendiola were both exceptionally proud that two of the recipients are women.
