‘Best team ever’

Congratulations to the CNMI baseball team! True grit! The veterans from the silver medal team from the Yap Micro Games wanted to redeem themselves as they were the best team. It’s sweeter winning at home and the younger kids got to see how the games should be played. There is a saying in sports, “Protect the house at all cost.” Bob Coldeen needs to add a chapter to his baseball book and proclaim these guys as the “best team ever.” They are now local baseball legends. This team epitomizes all the values we want athletes to show. This is also credited to the CNMI youth baseball development program and all the coaches, parents, volunteers, umpires, administrators who gave their time to the sport.
