Power service interruptions on June 8 and 9
There will be scheduled power service interruptions on June 8 and 9, 2022, as the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. continues its ongoing system maintenance.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8, 2022
Time: 9am to 1pm
o Area(s) Affected: Coastal Drive in Sadog Tasi.
■ Purpose: To perform vegetation clearing on five spans on Coastal Drive in Sadog Tasi.
■ Circuit: Feeder 4
■ Water Well(s) Affected: SQ-10, SQ-11and R-1.
o Area(s) Affected: Upper and Lower Navy Hill, China Town and the entire Garapan.
■ Wastewater Facility Affected: None
THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 2022
■ Time:
o 6am to 11am
■ Area(s) Affected: Garapan (Plumeria Steakhouse, Grandvrio Resort, Joeten Hafadai Shopping Center Building, ABC Store, Serenti Hotel, Cha Café & Bistro, American Pizza & Grill, Paris Croissant & Café, Panda House Waffles, New Shin Restaurant, I Love Saipan and ARC Building).
o 6am to 7:30am
■ Area(s) Affected: Garapan Beach Road.
■ Circuit: Feeder 2
■ Water Well(s) Affected: None
■ Wastewater Facility Affected: S-4 Lift Station, however, no areas will be affected.
Water service interruptions on Achive Lane in Fina Sisu
There will be scheduled water service interruptions from June 8 to June 10, 2022, from 8am to 5pm for Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers in Achive Lane in Fina Sisu.
This will allow CUC’s contractor for the Fina Sisu Waterline Replacement Project to perform the water meter relocation, installation and reconnection to the new service lateral from the new 6-inch PVC waterline at Achive Lane. Water service to the affected area will resume soon after.
This project is part of the Fina Sisu Waterline Replacement Project to provide a more reliable water system to the people of the CNMI. It is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
