MVA hosts Tinian photography Facebook contest
Photos of House of Taga and other sites on Tinian in the Marianas are some of scenes eligible for the Marianas Visitors Authority’s Facebook contest “Share Your Island Treasure” during May Tourism Month 2021. (MVA)
In celebration of May Tourism Month, the Marianas Visitors Authority has launched the “Capture Your Island Treasure” photo contest on Facebook, featuring Tinian.
The contest invites participants to post their favorite photo of Tinian on Facebook with the hashtags #VisitTheMarianas and #CNMITourismMonth. Participants must also follow and tag the MVA official FB page @VisitTheMarianas. Entries must the owned by the participants.
“Toward our goal of highlighting the Marianas as a multi-island destination, this contest gives participants from near and far the opportunity to share their favorite Tinian places, experiences, and personal treasures,” said MVA managing director Priscilla M. Iakopo. “We invite everyone to share their favorite things about the beautiful island of Tinian!”
The entry deadline is May 27, 2022, at 5pm. Winners will be announced on the MVA Facebook page Visit The Marianas on May 31. Prizes are $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $100 for tghird place.
