Outstanding awards for K5 were presented to Heleyna Dela Santa, Lvinna Palma, Faith Bautista, Mariana Angeles, and Mikaehla Mendoza. For K4, the awardees were Jessica Calma, Dwayne Tabhan, Arielle Matutino, and Krislaine Cabanas. For K3, the recipients were Christina Napitan and Victor Santos.

Academic Excellence Awards were also given to Elkee Babauta (K3), and Nathan Guy and Misako Ota (both K4).

Eucon also acknowledged every student with different awards in many categories.

The commencement included a choral reading of The Ant and the Grasshopper, a video show of the students and their teachers, a Noah’s Ark play by K5 students, and several songs.

Eucon K5 teacher Esther Bacon said that she is proud of her students and that she is happy they are moving on to first grade.

Eucon president Dr. Christian Wei was grateful to the teachers for accomplishing so much for their students.

“K5 really improved and our students in K4 and K3 were outstanding as well,” Wei said.

Wei also noted that Eucon doesn’t only have activities for K3 but its curriculum is “very well structured.”

“They are taught how to read, write, and even learn alphabets and numbers and when they move on to K4 there’ll be more other programs,” he said.

Eucon principal Judy Wei said that all the students made big progress throughout the school year. “Everyday from 8am to 2pm we have non-stop programs and every hour students are trained and the teachers work hard in teaching the students to read and be very well disciplined,” she said.

Report cards and diplomas would be handed out this Thursday, May 29. Students will be staying in school for one more week before the summer break. Tuesday to Friday, May 27 to 29, will be half days and on May 30, the high school graduation will be held.
