Democratic gubernatorial candidate Rep. Christina “Tina” Sablan (D-Saipan) and her running mate, Rep. Leila Fleming Staffler (D-Saipan), are inviting small business owners and entrepreneurs to share their experiences and join them for a cup of coffee today, May 11, and on May 12, and 17.

“Small businesses are the backbone of a healthy economy, and making sure small businesses have the support they need to thrive is an important part of our vision for the Marianas,” said Sablan. “This National Small Business Month, Leila and I invite small business owners to join us for a cup of coffee and conversation. We would love to hear your story as an entrepreneur or small business owner in the CNMI, and share ideas for how we can make the Marianas a better place for small businesses to grow and prosper.”

Coffee with the Candidates will take place on May 11, 12, and 17 at 7:30am at various coffeeshops throughout Saipan. Interested individuals are invited to sign up at bit.ly/tinaleilacoffee.

There are seven spots available per date. Spots for today, May 11, 2022, have been filled, but there are still open spots for May 12 and 17. Location information for each day will be communicated directly to registrants along with an email confirmation.

Sablan and Staffler are the Democratic candidates for the 2022 CNMI gubernatorial election. (PR)
