HAGÅTÑA, Guam—Bank of Guam announced yesterday that board treasurer and assistant secretary Martin D. Leon Guerrero passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 70.

Leon Guerrero was appointed to the Bank of Guam board of directors in 1990. During his 32 years of service, he previously held roles as Audit Committee, vice-chairman; Trust Committee,– chairman; and Nominating & Governance Committee, vice-chairman, as well as membership on various other bank committees. Leon Guerrero also served as treasurer and assistant secretary on the board of BankGuam Holding Co., the bank’s parent company since its inception in 2011.

“Martin was a humble and brilliant man who cared deeply for his family, colleagues and community. We will always remember his commitment to our bank, our familia, and the lasting impact he has made on all those we serve.
