Two festivals at UOG this week
The community is invited to two festivals this week at the University of Guam that were rescheduled from the university’s Charter Month celebrations in March. Both events are in-person on the UOG campus and free of charge.

• Green Night: 50 Years of Land-Grant Heritage: Wednesday, 4pm – 8pm, Agriculture & Life Sciences Building Courtyard, UOG Campus

Join the University of Guam and its College of Natural & Applied Sciences as they celebrate 50 years of land-grant heritage. Land-grant universities are federally designated to focus on agriculture, science, military science, and engineering and to teach and share the benefits of their research with the community.

The event will feature local produce and craft sales, plant sales, cycad garden tours, snake wrangling, a petting zoo, food trucks, light walking trails, yoga, a Glow-in-the-Dark Family Fun Run/Walk, and giveaways. Call (671) 735-2062 for more information.

• Micronesian Culture & Traditions Day: Friday, 6pm – 10pm, Calvo Field House/Student Center Parking Lot, UOG Campus

Celebrate the diverse cultural identities and traditions of the islands of Micronesia with the UOG community. This event, organized by the UOG Residence Halls Governing Council, will feature food trucks, dance performances, skits on island legends, presentations, and cultural displays.
