Gov. Eloy S. Inos re-appointed Barry C. Toves to serve on the Commonwealth Ports Authority board of directors representing Rota, and nominated David S. Atalig to the Civil Service Commission also to represent Rota.

Both appointments require the Senate’s advice and consent. If Toves is confirmed by the Senate, he will serve another four-year term, which will expire on May 14, 2018.

Atalig, if confirmed, will serve a six-year term starting on the date of his confirmation.

The governor said he’s confident that Toves will continue to devote his time and efforts on the CPA board. He’s also confident that Atalig will be an asset on the Civil Service Commission.

Both appointees are required to provide copies of their resume, statement of financial interest, drug test receipt and drug test results.
