Thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes will be up for grabs at NMC’s upcoming Golf Open on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Laolao Bay Golf and Resort. For more information, visit NMC. (NMC)

Thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes will be up for grabs at the 17th Annual Northern Marianas College Golf Open set for Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the east course of the Laolao Bay Golf and Resort.

First place winners in the men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies Flights (low gross and low net) will each receive $500, while $300 and $200 will go to the second and third place finishers, respectively.

In addition to the flight prizes, there will be hole-in-one prizes such as a brand new 2022 Civic Sport Hatchback from Joeten Motors, a brand new 2022 Hyundai Kona N-Line from Triple J Motors, and $5,000 from McDonald’s.

The 2022 NMC Golf Open is the first major golf tournament of the year and will be held on the east course of the Saipan LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort. Showtime is at 6am, and the shotgun start will be at 7am. The tournament will follow a medal play format.

Interested players can still register for the tournament by visiting www.marianas.edu/golf2022 or by emailing NMC Foundation coordinator Carla Sablan at carla.sablan@marianas.edu. This year’s tournament fee is $120.
