Tinian hosts Cope North 22 medical evacuation exercise
As part of Cope North 2022 multinational exercise, the U.S. Air Force, Japan Air Self-Defense Force, and Royal Australian Air Force conduct an aeromedical evacuation exercise on Tinian in the Northern Mariana Islands last Feb. 8, 2022. The medical evacuation exercise tested the medical team’s ability to triage, treat and stabilize patients before they are evacuated to a higher echelon of care.
Cope North fosters an optimal environment to exchange information and refine shared tactics, techniques and procedures to better integrate multilateral defense capabilities and enhance interoperability in support of regional security. (PR)
