In connection with National Scholarship Month last November, the University of Guam Endowment Foundation and several of the foundation’s most generous and longest-term scholarship donors were recognized by the Guam Legislature last Dec. 14.

Sen. Amanda L. Shelton presented a legislative resolution to the UOG Endowment Foundation and certificates of recognition to endowed scholarship founders, including the late Dr. Charles Parent; Gerry Perez; James and Young Hee Ji; Frederick J. Horecky; the University of Guam’s Society of Emeritus Professors and Retired Scholars; and IT&E Overseas.

Since January 2000, the UOGEF has awarded $559,890 in scholarships to UOG students and continues to raise funds through campaigns year-round.

For more information on how to donate to these scholarships or other endeavors that support UOG students and programs, contact the University of Guam Endowment Foundation at (671) 735-2957 or info@uogendowment.org, or visit https://give.uog.edu. (UOG)
