Karidat Social Services is implementing several steps to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community. These include closing its main office window, food pantry, and thrift shop for the next two weeks.

Karidat will also not be taking any clothing and household donations at this time.

The main office will continue to stay open to continue providing other services. For inquiries on other services being provided through phone or virtually, call the main office at 670-234-5248 or 670-234-6981.

“As we tread through these uncertain times, we encourage everyone to practice the 3 W’s [wash your hands; wear a face mask; watch your distance], and to extend patience, empathy, grace, and cooperation in their daily lives and to everyone around us. We are hopeful that we can resume regular services soon. May the spirit of the holiday season guide us as we share our faith, hope, and Karidat [charity],” said Karidat in a news release yesterday.
