CHCC team to aid COVID-19 info outreach
The Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. COVID-19 outreach team. (CHCC)
The Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. is launching a personalized door-to-door outreach to assist people who speak English as their second language and may need extra help accessing information about COVID-19 vaccination, testing, or registration process. The outreach team will begin visiting homes on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021.
This effort will ensure every individual who wants a COVID-19 vaccination or test is able to get one.
COVID-19 vaccination is a safe and effective way to build protection against COVID-19. All CNMI residents 5 years and older are eligible for vaccinations, and the CHCC is strongly encouraging everyone to take advantage of this.
COVID-19 testing is also available for residents on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. People who think they might be exposed should get tested, especially if they are unvaccinated. To register for community-based testing on Saipan, visit https://covidtesting.chcc.health. For Tinian and Rota residents, contact your respective health centers to register for COVID-19 testing from Monday to Saturday. (PR)
