All establishments pass sanitary inspections in October

All retail, eating, and drinking establishments in the CNMI that the Environmental Health Disease Prevention recently inspected passed routine inspections, which means not one establishment was ordered closed for serious violations of health and sanitation standards.

According to a Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. news release yesterday, 24 establishments in all, including two on Rota, obtained Grade A rating, the highest grade that can be obtained during a sanitary inspection.

Classifications for food safety rating for an establishment is Grade A (0-10 demerits), Grade B (11-20 demerits), Grade C (21-30 demerits), and closure/suspension (greater than 30 demerits).

The September results are as follows:
