Congratulations go out to Saipan International School Mathcourt students for their outstanding performance in the final round of Mathcourt competition on Saturday, May 10, at San Antonio Elementary School.

In the team round, Hyun Jae Park, Christina Kim, Daniele Colombo, and Arabella Loste bagged the silver medal. Hyun Jae Park also finished in 8th place overall and is an alternate on Team CNMI. He has a chance to go to Houston, Texas, in a few weeks to compete with Team CNMI in a Math League competition against students from all over the United States.

A few weeks ago, first grader Dee Jenkins nabbed the gold medal for the K-1st grade competition. Over 30 Mathcourt ribbons were won by SIS students in 2014. (PR)
