NMC Nursing Program info session tomorrow

Community members who want to pursue a career in nursing are invited to attend Northern Marianas College’s free info session on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at NMC’s Olympio T. Borja Library in Building O. The info session will be held from 5:30pm. to 6:30pm.
In addition to the nursing program, college personnel will discuss the admissions process and the available financial aid for the spring 2022 semester.
After completion of the degree program, students can pursue careers such as:
– Informatics Nurse
– Child health nurse
– Home health nurse
– Military nurse
– Medical-surgical nurse
– Psychiatric mental health nurse
– School nurse
– Administrative nurse
– Women’s health nurse
– Community health nurse
– Flight nurse
Participants of the info session will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC’s upcoming spring 2022 semester, a savings of about $75. As part of NMC’s COVID-19 safety protocols, participants are asked to wear masks or face coverings when on campus.
The first day of classes will be on Jan. 18, 2022. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply now to register for courses and for financial aid. Currently, up to $3,247 is available in federal financial aid to qualified students.
