Republican women lead
Last Wednesday, the CNMI Republican Party, Mrs. Roca Q. Sablan, and I hosted women of all ages and from across the Commonwealth in a happy hour event in support of Grace “Pitu” Sablan Vaiagae. It was a wonderful event and I thank the many strong and proud women of the Marianas who came to join us.
It was beautiful to see the movers and shakers of the CNMI in attendance and looking at the sea of women joining in support of our candidate, Grace, it was clear that the CNMI government today has done so much for our women leaders.
In attendance were current Cabinet secretaries who bring with them years of experience in private sector leadership and education, chairwomen of the CNMI’s various boards and commissions, business leaders championing employment and recovery in their work providing for our economy, and leaders throughout healthcare, education, government, law, and as students. It is clear that women leaders in the CNMI are thriving.
These powerful women are in good company with Grace.
Grace has the education to be a successful leader in our Legislature. Her degrees in psychology and counselling have propelled her into compassionate and successful service to school children, women, and those suffering from substance abuse. In speaking on behalf of those in need from our youth to our underrepresented, Grace can be a firm champion in policy affecting our islands because she has spent years fighting for them outside of the spotlight.
Grace has the heart to lead with humility and love. From her years counselling our children, to holding the hands of those fighting the pains of addiction, Grace has given her heart to the betterment of our community. From this work, it is clear her compassion has only grown. In listening to her goals, her passion for service is seeking to extend even farther—to the needs of our first responders, to the betterment of our healthcare system, and to the quality of life for the residents of Precinct 3.
And Grace believes in our future. As a caring mother of Aliitoa and Hanamoa, Grace has found the balance of a successful professional career and raising a loving family. Seeing her with her children, and the loving family she has raised, you can see the values of character, integrity, and honesty are deeply engrained within her.
These traits will make her not only one of the great women leaders of our community, but a phenomenal representative in the CNMI House of Representatives.
I ask for your support, love, and for your vote for Grace “Pitu” Sablan Vaiagae in the Special Election for Precinct 3 this Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021.
Please vote and biba famalaoan!
