Paire takes early lead in U12 of Fall League

Pairs Football Club moved on top of the team standings in the co-ed U12 competitive division early into the 2021 NMIFA Youth Fall League.
Paire blanked Kanoa FC-1 last Saturday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville, 4-0, for its second win in as many games and the lead in the seven-team field. Jayten and Jazzroy Villagomez, Beatrice Gross, and Rodney Junior Tomei scored one goal each for Paire.

In other games in the division, MP United Blue and MP United Pink prevailed over their respective foes. MPU Blue coasted past Kanoa FC-2, 9-0, while MPU Pink outclassed TanHoldings FC.

Brothers Stephen and Henry Yeom powered MP United Blue to the lopsided win with the former making four goals and the latter adding three. As for MP United Pink, it drew two goals from Taiga Namai-Scoggins and one from Moshe Sikkel, while Kian Estolas recorded the lone goal for TanHoldings.

BOYS U15
TanHoldings 2, MPU 0

TanHoldings notched its second straight after beating MP United.

Anthony Austria and Mark Ryan Costales made the pair of goals for the division co-leader.

Kanoa 7, Shirley’s 0

Kanoa FC joined TanHoldings on top of the team standings after blowing out Shirley’s.

Paul Lizama and Leland Deleon Guerrero nailed two goals apiece for Kanoa, while Tyler Omelau, Markus Toves, and Izeah Jolo chipped in one.

Matansa 9, Paire
Matansa broke into the win column after routing Paire.

Philip Megino and MD Arif Hossain Kagman led the easy victory after firing three goals apiece. Jerome Mettao, Jack Paul Lizama, and Pritom Sen contributed one goal each.

GIRLS U15
TanHoldings 11, MP United 2

Rizza Relucio scored seven goals, five of them in consecutive fashion in the first half to hand TanHoldings to its second win in as many matches early into the season.

Southern United 10, Kanoa 3
Southern United also improved to a 2-0-0 win-draw-loss record after hammering Kanoa.

Pia Ngewakl stood out in Southern United’s victory after logging six goals.

Paire 2, Shirley’s 1
Paire got its first win of the season after nosing out Shirley’s.

Justidy Mizutani made the twin goals for Paire, while Shanen Bangis tallied the lone goal for Shirley’s.
