COMMUNITY BRIEFS – October 7, 2021
Al-Anon/Nar-Anon Family Group 12-Step Support Group
Friends and family members of alcoholics and addicts will be meeting Saturday, Oct. 9, from 10:15am to 11:15am at Paradise Dental Spa, Middle Road, Gualo Rai, across the street from Chong’s Refrigeration.
Al-Anon/Nar-Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking or drug use. By sharing common experiences and applying the 12-Step principles of AA, families and friends of alcoholics and addicts can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic or addict admits the existence of a drinking or drug problem or seeks help.
