HONOLULU, Hawaii—Bank of Hawaii has been named Best Big Bank in Hawaii in Newsweek’s America’s Best Banks 2022 rankings.

Newsweek partnered with LendingTree, the online marketplace and comparison site for financial services, for its second annual Best Banks rankings. The Best Big Bank in each state needed to have at least one branch per 100,000 residents and at least $10 billion in assets.

“This accomplishment would not be possible without the continued dedication of our more than 2,000 Bankoh teammates who have gone above and beyond to serve our customers, especially through the challenging times brought on by the pandemic,” said Bank of Hawaii chairman, president and CEO Peter Ho. “Our digital products and enhancements make it convenient for customers to bank remotely and stay connected to their finances while our branch teammates provide a personal level of engagement for our customers.” (PR)
