4.6-magnitude quake in Pagan region

At 11:33am on Sept. 8 2021, a report of a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred at 18.649°N 145.811°E in the Pagan region. Currently, there are no tsunami warnings or advisories that were issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. For more information, contact the CNMI EOC State Warning Point at 237-8000. (PR)

CHamoru commission meeting today

The Kumisión i Fino’ CHamoru yan i Fina’nå’guen i Historia yan i Lina’la’ i Taotao Tåno’ (Commission on CHamoru Language and the Teaching of the History and Culture of the Indigenous People of Guam) will hold its September monthly meeting today, Sept. 9, 2021, Thursday, from 12:30 pm to 3:30pm in a virtual meeting.
