The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is still accepting registrations for the SCC tax seminar being presented by Deloitte and Ernst & Young this Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 at the SCC conference rooms from 9am to 11am. There’s no charge for SCC members for the first seat, and a second entry would cost $10 only.

Deloitte’s Edgar T. Aguilar will discuss Tax Saving Strategies for the 2012 filing season, and Small Business Tax Saving Strategies. Ernst & Young’s Edmund E. Brobesong will present material reflecting source of income rules applicable in the CNMI. These rules determine the amount of gross revenue subject to gross revenue tax (only CNMI sourced revenue is subject to the gross revenue tax). Contract executive director Richard Pierce at executive@saipanchamber.com for more information. (SCC)
