Join 4-Mile Fun Run, support NMI basketball teams
The Northern Mariana Islands Basketball Federation is gearing up for the 2022 Micronesian Games and will have its first fundraising event this Saturday via the Michelob Ultra 4-Mile Run For Taste and Pokka 4-Mile Sunset Run.
Registration is still on for the Aug. 28 event and the NMIBF is requesting support from the community to help the federation send the NMI men’s and women’s teams to the Micro Games that the Marshall Islands will be hosting. The NMIBF has recently selected 20 players each in the men’s and women’s divisions that will move to Stage 2 of the Micro Games preparations and this weekend’s run will just be one of the several fundraising events that the national squad hopefuls will be involved with.
