MHS graduate is promoted as US Navy logistics specialist senior chief in Italy

A Marianas High School graduate was recently promoted as U.S. Navy logistics specialist senior chief in Naples, Italy, where he is currently stationed at the Forward Deployed Repair Maintenance Center.
Arthurlevy Bignayan Agulto, who graduated from Marianas High School in 2002, was assigned to Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center in Sigonella, Italy as the senior enlisted leader where, according to him, he advises a diverse workforce of all service members and civilian employees on personnel policies, programs, ideas, and opportunities pertinent to their wellbeing, allowing them to focus on performing their mission and enhancing their careers through applied experience in coordinating logistics operations.
Agulto’s military awards include two Navy Commendation medals, eight Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals, and various Joint Service medals and awards.
In August 2002, Agulto reported to Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois and completed Airman Apprentice Training in Pensacola, Florida that same year.

His duty assignment includes at the Sea Control Squadron 33, where he was designated as a storekeeper and rated Petty Officer Third Class. Before leaving the squadron, Agulto was the recipient of the Command Advancement Program to Petty Officer Second Class.
He served as financial specialist at the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron. He was the Leading Petty Officer at Commander Fleet Air Forward Aviation Support Division at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam.
Agulto served aboard USS Gary as the leading petty officer, completing two successful deployments, RIMPAC 2014 and its decommissioning.
He was also aboard the USS Makin Island as the leading chief petty officer for Damage Control and Hazardous Materials Division.
Agulto and his wife, Sarah Deleon Agulto, have a six-year-old daughter, Ayrah Snow Deleon Agulto.
At MHS, Agulto was the graduating class president, ran track, and member of the National Honor Society and other organizations.
Agulto is the son of CNMI Department of Labor executive secretary Maria Lee B. Bignayan. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Maryland Global Campus and is a current candidate for his Master’s in Business.
According to Bignayan, her son likes outdoor activities, enjoys cycling, and loves to spend time with his family and experience other cultures.
Bignayan is proud mother of two other U.S. Navy sons—Logistics Specialist 1 Romeo Bignayan Agulto, who is assigned in Virginia, and Logistics Specialist 1 Clemen Krisnan Bignayan Agulto, who is assigned in Guam.
