Free webinars help Saipan businesses prepare their BOH grant applications
The Bank of Hawaii’s I Kinometi Para I Kumunidåt I Islå-ta Small Business Revitalization and Development Grant program—which is intended to promote new businesses and encourage existing small businesses to expand—is now accepting applications from Saipan small business owners.
The application for the grant is due on Friday, August 6. Applications are available by contacting either the CNMI SBDC, Saipan Chamber of Commerce, Bank of Hawaii’s Gualo Rai branch, or Gualo Rai branch manager Rose Sumor at Rose.Sumor@boh.com or 237-2983.
For businesses that see additional assistance, the “How to Stand Out in Your Bank of Hawaii Business Grant Application” webinar will share grant qualifications, how to apply, and how to submit a stellar application. There are four identical seminars:
– Wednesday, Aug. 4: from 9am – 11am or 2pm – 4pm,
– Thursday, Aug. 5: from 10am – 12pm or 5:30pm – 7:30pm
These webinars will be conducted by Maxine Laszlo of Max Impacts: Maxine Laszlo Consulting, in partnership with the CNMI Small Business Development Center. All trainings are free of charge, thanks to sponsorship by the Northern Marianas College. RSVP is required at https://tinyurl.com/2021CNMIGRANT. For questions, call 285-7739.
Note this is not the mandatory SBDC “Smart Money Seminar” required with all grant submissions. The Smart Money Seminar is scheduled for Aug. 10 and Aug. 11. Reach out to the CNMI SBDC for more information. (PR)
