PSS SPED holds end-of-year professional development
The Public School System’s Special Education Program successfully conducted its end-of-year professional development on June 16, 2021. This was done with the partnership and support of the University of Guam’s Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, Education, Research, and Services.
PSS-Special Education director Donna Flores said the professional development was “focused on increasing school and staff and personnel morale, and promoting a proactive school culture.”
UOG CEDDERS acting director June De Leon facilitated the professional development.
This was PSS’ largest gathering yet, with 175 special education staff, bus drivers, bus conductors, classroom teachers, teacher aides, and related service and school administrators on Saipan, Tinian and Rota.
The event closed with a self-care painting activity with instructor Linda Torres. (PSS)
