The Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. will soon welcome Dr. Paul Llobet from New York and physician assistant Mary Lou Stevens from Colorado into its medical staff by the end of June.

This comes soon after the CHCC board approved last Friday the two’s job applications.

CHCC spokesperson Guillermo Lifoifoi said that Llobet has practiced medicine since 2008, and Stevens has had medical experience dating back as early as 1977.

In an email message that Lifoifoi shared, Stevens said that living and working on Saipan has been a goal for quite some time. “I am looking forward to getting to know the people of the CNMI and exploring the island of Saipan. It has been a long-term goal of mine to work here. …I drifted into healthcare when I was younger, and have discovered it is what I am meant to do,” said Stevens.
