123rd Philippine Independence Day

Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, Delegate Gregorio Kilili C. Sablan (Ind-MP), TanHoldings president Jerry Tan, Philippine honorary consul to the CNMI Glicerio “Eli” Arago, and members of the CNMI Legislature join Saipan’s Filipino community in its celebration of the 123rd Philippine Independence Day on June 12. Last Saturday’s celebrations began with a Philippine flag-raising and signing of a CNMI-Philippines Friendship proclamation in the morning at Marianas High School, and ended with a motorcade parade in the afternoon that began at Dandan Middle School and ended at Garapan Fishing Base.
