Since October 2020, the Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations has already doubled its membership from 29 organizations and individuals to 58.

“This is a great achievement given that one of our goals is to provide training and support to CNMI nonprofits so they can improve their delivery of services and programs,” said MANGO chair Maisie Tenorio.

The Lemmai-Mei Nonprofit Incubator Project is one of MANGO’s initiatives that is already reaping benefits for the first cohort that participated.

The board of directors for Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence has already done a self-review. It will also begin work on a strategic plan. 500 Sails also formed an ad hoc committee and began work on its five-year strategic plan.

MANGO is conducting a free board of directors workshop on Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 8:30am-11:30am. Registration is being accepted at: https://forms.gle/P4fDwdzDq9bYNDxo6. Seating is limited for in-person participation. (PR)
